The Chain O’Lakes Fireworks Fund is a 501C(4) Not for Profit Corporation and was formed in 2008 to maintain the tradition of fireworks over the water on the Chain O’Lakes.  This tradition was threatened at the end of 2007 when the longstanding volunteer organizer retired .  The Chain O’Lakes Fireworks Fund was organized to fill the void and To Keep The Spark Alive.  It is a volunteer run organization that depends solely on individual and business donations to present the annual fireworks show.  Throughout the spring and early summer events are scheduled to raise the necessary funds.  Each $1,000 raised will buy one minute of show time and the committee has an goal of $35,000 for the 2011 show.  Donations can be made at any time at http://www.keepthesparkalive.com/Donate.html.
