Chain O'Lake's Fireworks The Chain O' Lake's Fireworks Committe is dedicated to returning the tradition of the 4th of July Fireworks to Mineola Bay. 

We can NOT do this alone.  We need the help of everyone that wants to keep this tradition alive for all generations.  We understand that these are tough economic times for a lot of people but even a small donation can make a difference.  If you don't want to see this tradition come to an end please make a donation.

FIREWORKS SPECIAL EVENT NO WAKE ZONE

There will be a Temporary No Wake Zone from Grass Lake Bridge South To Route 12 and another line going directly north from Lippincott Point to Crabapple Island on 7/4/09 from 8:00P - 11:00P for the Chain O'Lakes Fireworks Display CLICK HERE FOR DETAILED MAP

 
We would like to thank the Village of Fox Lake and the Fox Waterway Agency for their monetary donations as well as their efforts and support in making this happen.  Without them the fireworks would not be possible.

I know there have been lots of rumors, but here is the straight story:

New 501c4 (nonprofit) Corporation Formed:
Chain-O-Lake's Fireworks Fund
New Committee Formed:
Chain-O-Lake's Fireworks Committee
Firework Company is hired:
J&M Displays they have done it for years and did Steitz’s fireworks display last year
Permits:
All permits have been acquired and approval granted.  The show will go on, how big it is depends on your donations.

Fireworks will be shot off on July 4th 2009 with a rain date of the 5th in MINEOLA BAY

We have done the work... NOW IT IS UP TO ALL OF YOU... Your donations determine how big the show will be... I know we can do this!!!!!

The Chain O'Lake's Fireworks are run by volunteers and put on through donations of businesses and private individuals. 

This years goal is $35,000 so please donate and help us put on the best show ever.

As of June 25th, 2009 we have raised over $20,000.00.

Please note that the fireworks will go off even though we will not reach our original goal.  It will just be a smaller show this year.
